Actor-director Anson Williams is seeking to make the swap from Hollywood to politics.

The “Completely satisfied Days” star introduced that he’ll run for mayor of Ojai, California on the native metropolis council assembly on June 28, the Ojai Valley News reported.

Throughout the public remark interval of the assembly, Williams, 72, mentioned the town wants “management that evokes a collaborative group,” in line with the native paper.

He’ll face present Ojai Mayor Betsy Stix, who’s operating for reelection.

Williams rose to fame for his position as Postie Weber, the very best good friend of Richie Cunningham, on the beloved ’70s ABC sitcom.

His former “Completely satisfied Days” co-star Henry Winkler, who performed Fonzie, has already endorsed him.

“You will have my vote,” Winkler tweeted Tuesday in response to a KABC-TV reporter’s tweet about Williams’ run for mayor.

Ojai mayoral candidates and people operating for any workplace can formally declare candidacy by pulling papers on the metropolis clerk’s workplace by July 18, in line with Ojai Valley Information.

It’s unknown if Williams has completed so.

After “Completely satisfied Days” led to 1984, Williams switched to working behind the scenes as a producer and director.

He produced the 1980 film “Skyward,” starring Bette Davis and directed exhibits like “Lone Star Child,” “No Larger Present” and “seaQuest.”
