Macau Shuts Casinos as City Enters Weeklong Lockdown

HONG KONG—The playing enclave of Macau will enter a citywide lockdown early Monday, as authorities search to include a spiraling Covid-19 outbreak.

Except for important providers reminiscent of supermarkets, healthcare amenities and eating places promoting takeaway, all different companies have been ordered to close for per week, with residents required to remain at house. Metropolis officers urged the general public to not panic-buy meals, asking folks to make purchases at staggered instances to allow social distancing in queues.
