An enormous hearth broke out at an oil refinery in northwestern Iran on Saturday, the semi-official Fars Information Company reported.
The refinery is close to town of Tabriz in East Azerbaijan Province.
“The firefighting remains to be occurring and the dimensions and depth of the hearth made it troublesome to extinguish,” Fars reported.
The reason for the accident is underneath investigation, Fars added.
“Proper now, 25 hearth engines on the website are extinguishing the hearth,” Mohammad Baqer Hanbar, director normal of disaster administration of East Azerbaijan Governorate, stated as cited by Fars.
