Rory McIlroy completed his outstanding ultimate spherical on the 2022 Masters in model — now he waits to see if his cost was sufficient.

McIlroy, 32, chipped a bunker shot close to the center of the inexperienced at par-4 18 and noticed it take a protracted and excellent left flip into the cup for a round-sealing birdie at Augusta on Sunday.

The unreal shot gave him a ultimate spherical 64 (8-under par) to match the bottom ultimate spherical in Masters historical past, becoming a member of Gary Participant’s 64 in 1979. It’s one off the course file of 63 held by Nick Value (1934) and Greg Norman (1996).

His bogey-free spherical included six birdies and an eagle. McIlroy, who’s 7-under for the match and has by no means received the inexperienced jacket, moved into second behind chief Scottie Scheffler (10-under on the time).
