Whereas conservatives are up in arms about Sam Smith and Kim Petras‘ hell-themed efficiency of “Unholy” on the Grammys … the Church of Devil is unimpressed.
David Harris, magister for the Church of Devil, tells TMZ … Sam and Kim’s efficiency was “alright” and “nothing notably particular.”
Harris, who’s fairly excessive up within the Church of Devil (kinda like a cardinal), says the imagery evoked in Sam and Kim’s set is much like what of us have already seen from different artists — pink clothes, hearth and satan horns — and it is all sort of passé now.
After all, politicians like Senator Ted Cruz and Congresswomen Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert had solely completely different takeaways … as they railed towards the Grammy night time act, calling it evil.
MTG and Boebert’s anti-Sam/Kim tweets referenced The Satanic Temple — a special group from the Church of Devil — however Harris is firing again on behalf of all Satanists, telling us … “It is unhappy when politicians on a nationwide stage use somebody’s faith as a punchline.”
Paradoxically, he says Cruz, MTG and Boebert are a bunch of “delicate snowflakes.”
Political bickering apart, the Church of Devil says Lil Nas X‘s music video for “Montero” was truly rather more proactive than something Sam or Kim did, at the least in a satanic sense.
For the uninitiated … Satanists do not truly worship Devil, nor do they imagine in God or the Satan. They’re against something supernatural and all spirituality, and with no perception within the afterlife, Satanists emphasize being your true self, private achievement and residing life to the fullest … with one of many key tenants being people are their very own Gods.
It is why the Church of Devil says Lil Nas X’s “Montero” is rather more in step with their philosophies … within the music vid, LNX descends into hell, murders Devil and takes the satan’s crown for himself.
As for Sam and Kim’s “Unholy” tune, the Church of Devil says it is actually simply a variety of engaging individuals prancing round in good outfits, singing lyrics extra about infidelity than Satanism … which is why Satanists are responding with a powerful “meh.”
