Spotify this week eliminated dozens extra episodes of “The Joe Rogan Expertise,” one of many firm’s hottest and controversial podcasts, in accordance with the automated monitoring web site JRE Missing. Though Rogan and Spotify officers have mentioned Rogan retains full artistic management of his exhibits below the 2020 deal, the service has beforehand deliberately eliminated greater than 100 older episodes. An preliminary wave of removals after the 2020 deal included interviews with far-right personalities and conspiracy theorists; a more recent batch of about 70 episodes in February got here after intense public backlash over Rogan’s feedback about COVID-19 vaccines and over his earlier use of the N-word.
